Housing Options Scotland celebrates 20th Anniversary
Housing Options Scotland (HOS) is to celebrate 20 years of offering housing advice to disabled people, older people and veterans with a commemorate lunch next week.
Founded back in 1997, the Edinburgh-based organisation has grown from a small operation to a well-established charity helping an average of 500 clients per year. Over the last 20 years, HOS has built-up a reputation of excellence by providing its customers with advice and support on the complex design, financial and legal processes involved in buying or renting a property.
Reflecting on the company’s 20th anniversary, Moira Bayne, HOS CEO, said: “We have pioneered agile working, the paperless office and also the use of associates. The board took a brave decision in 2010 to rebrand as HOS and in 2012 to create Military Matters, our veterans dedicated service, was formed. We never turn anyone away who needs our help.”
To commemorate this occasion, HOS has invited employees, clients, business partners and local stakeholders to a special anniversary lunch at the House for an Art Lover in Glasgow on Monday November 27.
The event will be a fantastic opportunity to hear some inspirational stories from former clients who have benefited from the charity’s help during their search for ‘the right house in the right place’.
