Housing performance report published by West Dunbartonshire Council
West Dunbartonshire Council has published a report to update tenants and customers on its housing performance.
The Scottish Social Housing Charter Performance Report sets out the standards and outcomes that landlords should achieve and includes key figures on performance for each council and registered social landlord.
Produced in partnership with tenants, the council report provides accurate information and highlights areas of good performance and areas where action is being taken to drive improvement.
Councillor David McBride, convenor of housing, said: “As a council we are fully committed to providing high quality affordable housing and neighbourhood our residents can be proud of. The Charter sets out the standards and service our tenants can expect from the council and the report is a great way of highlighting the many great services and improvements in our Housing Services. We have made great progress but we are not complacent. We are proud of our new build programme which is delivering the highest standard of social housing in Scotland and we are investing more than £114 million over the next five years in our Housing Capital Investment Programme.”
Depute convener, Councillor Lawrence O’Neill, added: “We are committed to providing tenants with great services that are affordable and achievable and our dedicated staff are working tirelessly with our tenants to ensure they receive excellent customer services.
The report also sets out some of the actions we will be taking over the next year to further enhance the services we currently provide to our customers.”
