In Pictures: Viewpoint staff experience dementia firsthand
Back in 2016, Viewpoint was the first employer in Scotland to have the national touring bus visit for staff training, as well as offering members of the public at Cameron Toll shopping centre the opportunity to learn more about dementia.
Operated by training2care UK, the bus allows people to experience what living with dementia could feel like through a range of headphones, goggles, gloves and footwear. It is an incredible educational tool as it gives people with healthy brains a practical understanding of what dementia might be like.
Over 60 Viewpoint staff took part in the two-day training this year. Viewpoint was also pleased to offer spaces to Board members and architects Smith Scott Mullan Associates.
