Jill Fraser and Peter Fotheringham join Caledonia leadership team
Caledonia Housing Association (CHA) has appointed two new executive directors to its leadership team.
Jill Fraser has been appointed as executive director of operations and will oversee customer service, new build development, investment and regeneration, and support services. Jill joins CHA from Manchester Airports Group where she is the transformation programme delivery director, with responsibility for expanding the airport, driving business growth and enhancing and personalising the customer experience.
Having held a number of senior operations roles across the UK and Australia, Jill has an extensive and successful background in strategic leadership, business strategy, programme management and transformation.
Peter Fotheringham joins CHA as executive director of finance and will be responsible for finance and treasury management, IT and business improvement. Peter is a Chartered Accountant and is currently director of finance at the University of Dundee.
His previous roles have included head of finance at Highland Spring Group, group financial controller at DC Thomson and a number of senior finance positions at Edrington Group.
Jill and Peter will take up their positions with CHA in mid-October.
Jill Fraser said: “I am delighted to be joining CHA at such an important time for social housing in Scotland. I’m looking forward to contributing to the future strategy of CHA and supporting the team to create positive change for our customers, fostering more sustainable, stronger communities across the country.”
Peter Fotheringham added: “Caledonia Housing Association has an excellent reputation and a clear vision to provide homes and services which make life better. This is a purpose I am passionate about and I am delighted to be joining the team at CHA and look forward to playing my part in helping to ensure its future success.”
The new roles have been created following a review of the executive structure at Caledonia Housing Association to ensure the organisation is well-positioned for future success, to drive business and service improvement and be responsive to emerging opportunities and challenges.
Welcoming the appointments, Julie Cosgrove, chief executive, said: “I am thrilled to welcome Jill and Peter to our executive team. They bring a wealth of experience and expertise in their fields which will help us to deliver our organisational objectives and ensure CHA continues to deliver the growth, services and support that have a positive impact on our tenants and communities.”
