Kingdom Housing Association celebrates double win at CIH Scotland Housing Awards 2021
Kingdom Housing Association is celebrating a double win at the CIH Scotland Housing Awards, the country’s annual awards for excellence in housing, lifting the top prizes for Excellence in Customer Service and Excellence in Tenant Scrutiny.
At a gala event held in Glasgow, the CIH Scotland Housing Awards recognised and celebrated the individuals, organisations and projects that have made a difference to tenants, customers and communities across the country over the last year.
The work of Kingdom’s influential tenant scrutiny panel won the Excellence in Tenant Scrutiny award and the values driven Kingdom CARES, delivering customer service excellence won the award for Excellence in Customer Service.
Matthew Busher, Kingdom’s housing director, said: “We are delighted to have won two awards. Through a period of significant challenge, our customer-facing teams have continued to demonstrate their dedication and commitment to delivering excellent services. We recognise that there is always room for improvement and we look forward to building on this success through the continued development of our services in the future ”
Bill Banks, Kingdom Group chief executive, added: “Kingdom was shortlisted in 8 different categories at the CIH Scotland Housing Awards this year. That was a record result for us and being recognised across a diverse range of categories demonstrates the great work being done across the whole of Kingdom. That includes regeneration, development, digital transformation, communications and groundbreaking homelessness initiatives.
“The awards that Kingdom won demonstrate a commitment from staff and management to delivering the best possible services for our customers and ensuring they are a vital part of our decision making process.”
With eight shortlisted entries, Kingdom Housing Association was well represented throughout the awards ceremony gaining recognition in the Excellence in Housing Innovation category for Working Out of Homelessness - Naumann Initiative Phase 2, Excellence in Organisational Change for Digital Cloud Services and Excellence in Communications for Communicating In Unprecedented Times.
Matthew Busher, Kingdom’s housing director, was shortlisted in the Excellence in Leadership category, Fraser Avenue’s regeneration was shortlisted in the Excellence in Regeneration category and Kingdom was shortlisted in the Housing Provider of the Year category for Kingdom, Delivering More Than A Home.
