Kingdom Housing Association renews consultants framework
Kingdom Housing Association (KHA) has appointed a number of consultants to its new Consultant Services Framework in support of its ambitious new build affordable housing programme.
The framework will provide consultant services not only for Kingdom Housing Association but also the Association’s subsidiaries and its affordable housing partners, should they choose.
It will run for a minimum of two years with the option for Kingdom to extend until December 2024.
It is estimated that 1000 new homes will be delivered over the period of the Framework which will attract community benefit contributions from the appointed consultants to be used by Kingdom for local community or environmental projects.
Bill Banks, Kingdom Group chief executive, said: “Kingdom’s Consultant Services Framework allows us to work with partners who deliver exceptional quality and value and who can help us achieve our strategic objectives. Working with the consultants on the Framework we can deliver added value and community benefits and ensure we continue to prioritise our focus on sustainability and climate change.”
The framework has been split into six lots covering Combined Consultancy Architect lead Design Team, Architect, Quantity Surveyor/Employers Agent, Civil Structural Engineer, Building Services Engineer and Principal Designer services.
Six Consultancy firms have been appointed for each lot with the appointments based on assessment criteria recognising both price and quality.
