Kingdom Housing Association shared its energy efficiency knowledge at the Fife Environmental Partnership Conference and Fair held in Dunfermline last month.

The event at Carnegie Conference Centre was attended by over one hundred delegates, including representatives from community groups, social enterprises, green businesses, public bodies, funders and Fife Council.

This year’s Conference highlighted the wide range of works being carried out that will contribute to environmental improvements in Fife, Scotland, the UK and the wider world beyond.

A range of experts and professionals shared their knowledge and experience on topics such as low carbon heat, sustainable transport and funding for community assets.

Kingdom Housing Association’s energy advisor, Michael Hui, also presented on the Association’s energy efficient housing development and the work on tackling fuel poverty.

Bill Banks, chief executive of Kingdom Housing Association, said: “Kingdom shares the ambition of reducing carbon emissions and creating a greener environment. Michael was keen to emphasise Kingdom’s focus on educating tenants in managing the energy efficient technology, as well as keeping them out of fuel poverty.”
