Kingdom Support & Care recognises staff at awards event
Kingdom Support & Care staff have been recognised for their outstanding achievements at an award ceremony held at Behind The Wall in Falkirk.
The 2023 ‘Wall of Fame’ awards saw staff recognised for their dedication and commitment over the last year. Across three categories, the peer-judged awards highlighted creativity, teamwork and outstanding support delivered.
Kingdom Support and Care is a subsidiary of Kingdom Housing Association and provides high quality personalised support and care to over 350 individuals across Fife and Forth Valley, helping them to live independent lives in their own homes.
Paul White, executive director of Kingdom Support & Care, said: “The ‘Wall of Fame’ awards recognise the amazing work done throughout Kingdom Support & Care and it was great to have everyone together in one place to celebrate the genuinely life changing work that we do. Much of this is on a one-to-one basis or in small teams, so having an opportunity to come together at such an uplifting event to celebrate our successes was brilliant.
“The work of our Support Workers, business support staff and managers enables the individuals we support to value themselves and others, overcome challenges and realise dreams. I’m proud to work with our ‘Wall of Fame’ winners and a great staff team which strives to improve lives 24/7, 365 days of the year.”
Kamala Green, a support worker from Slamannan, added: “In the 10 years that I have worked with Kingdom Support and Care, it is the first time myself and the team have received an award, not just one but two awards. I am thrilled that our hard work has been recognised. The positive feedback has definitely encouraged us to continue the good work that we do in the future. It feels great to play my part in providing support to my service users and to know it makes a difference in their daily lives.”
