Kirkwood Homes submits plans for 50 new homes in Broughty Ferry
Kirkwood Homes has submitted plans to build 50 new homes at a Broughty Ferry housing development that could see the former Linlathen Neurological Care Centre knocked down.
The proposal would see the firm expand its 250-home Balgillo Heights estate off the A92.
A 12-week consultation has also been launched to allow people in the area to have their say on the plans. Local residents will be invited to share their feedback at a drop-in event at the Balgillo Heights sales office on December 6 followed by another on January 17 2023.
A website will be launched at least a week before the first event and remain open until January 27.
A full planning application is likely to be submitted early next year.
Kirkwood Homes said the medical facility would be demolished to make way for the new builds, while the site’s walled garden would be “restored and brought back to life”.
