Leonardo DiCaprio to visit Social Bite
Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio is set to visit Edinburgh this year and become the latest A-lister to call in on homeless charity sandwich shop Social Bite.
The Oscar-winner is understood to have agreed to speak at the Scottish Business Awards as a guest of the social enterprise that trains, employs and feeds local homeless people.
Previous stars to visit Scotland with Social Bite include George Clooney and Bill Clinton.
The sandwich chain – founded by Josh Littlejohn – employs formerly homeless people and allows customers to pay for food and drink for vulnerable people.
In what will be his first visit to Scotland, DiCaprio will visit Social Bite’s Edinburgh sandwich shop before attending the not-for-profit Scottish Business Awards in the EICC later this year. He may also deliver the keynote address at the event.
