Line up of speakers announced for Scotland’s Housing Festival

Scotland’s Housing Festival returns to Glasgow on the 7 and 8 March to examine the progress made on the Scottish Government’s Housing to 2040 strategy and what this will mean for the housing sector.

CIH Scotland’s two-day event will focus on the latest developments in the sector and hot housing topics of the moment allowing attendees to hear from a wealth of keynote speakers, get involved with top-level debates, and speak with influential innovators.

The line up of expert keynote speakers for this year’s event includes Patrick Harvie MSP minister for zero carbon buildings, active travel and tenants’ rights, Shona Robison MSP cabinet secretary for social justice, housing and local government and Michael Cameron, chief executive of the Scottish Regulator, to name just a few.

Free to CIH members, Scotland’s Housing Festival provides the opportunity for housing professionals from across Scotland to collaborate, network, grow and learn through top-level debate. It provides something for all areas of housing whether strategic, operational, or for those looking to be inspired by the latest housing innovations, best practice and knowledge.

Callum Chomczuk, national director of CIH Scotland, explained: “Scotland’s Housing Festival is the biggest and best housing event in Scotland. It is the best place for people working in housing to come to share, to learn and network with professionals from across the country. At this year’s festival we will be looking at important issues such as the cost of living crisis, homelessness, and of course the issue of damp and mould – how do we keep tenants safe in their homes. The event is free for all CIH members, and I look forward to seeing you all there.”
