Link Group takes the Scottish Business Pledge
A mutual partnership between the Scottish Government and Scottish businesses, the pledge aims to encouraging innovation, fairness and opportunity development in the workplace.
Roy Stirrat, chairman, Link Group Ltd, said: “It is fitting that Link takes the Scottish Business Pledge as we aim to be an employer of choice and fairness. Our values embody that of the pledge; responsibility, empathy, social impact, participation, equality, challenge and transparency.
“We have always demonstrated our commitment to providing and supporting a fair and equal workplace for our employees, and will continue to do so for years to come. I’m looking forward to seeing where the pledge will take us.”
Scottish Government minister for business, innovation and energy, Paul Wheelhouse, added: “Link has grown to be one of the most respected social enterprises in Scotland since it was formed more than 50 years ago. I would like to congratulate the group on making the Scottish Business Pledge and, in doing so, demonstrating its commitment to fair work and the living wage, and also congratulate the group for the substantial contribution it has made to providing housing services to communities across Scotland.”
