Link leaps up diversity list
Link Group has ranked 25th in the National Centre for Diversity’s UK Top 100 Index 2019, an improvement of 21 places from last year.
The Top 100 Index is determined by the results of surveys of staff and customers completed by organisations that have embarked on an accreditation journey with the National Centre for Diversity (NCFD).
Helen Bayne, director of human resources and business support at Link, said: “We are delighted to have ranked so highly in the UK Top 100 Index - an improvement of 21 places from 2018.
“This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to being inclusive and an organisation which values its people, customers and partners.
“We recognise each individual is different and strive to understand what is important to them. Collaborating with the National Centre for Diversity has allowed us to share best practice and encouraged us to continue our efforts in this key aspect of our work.”
NCFD chief executive, Solat Chaudhry, added: “The inspiring organisations that make the Top 100, demonstrate excellent levels of employee retention and recruitment and clearly demonstrate how they value and respect the people that work for them.
“What better than to be recognised by peers and those travelling in the same direction towards the common goal of fairness in the workplace. It is hugely motivational. Our congratulations go to Link Group reaching number 25 in the Top 100 Index 2019.”
