The popular fundraising event gives participants the chance to explore rural and well-known areas of Edinburgh while raising funds for a charity of their choice.

Walkers can choose from three options – the 26-mile Mighty Stride, the 12-mile Big Stroll or the 5-mile Wee Wander.

LinkLiving aims to be a provider of choice and excellence through a wide range of socially inclusive care, support and employability services.

Sarah Smith, director of LinkLiving, said: “What an incredible achievement! We are delighted to have raised so much for our cause. The funds will help us expand our service to reach those most vulnerable in the community.
