Linthouse Housing Association appoints new director of asset management
Linthouse Housing Association (LHA) has announced the appointment of Gail Sherriff as its new director of asset management and depute CEO.
Gail will bring 30 years of experience in delivering comprehensive tenement improvements to pre-1919 tenements, delivering new build developments, alternative tenures, and detailed knowledge of asset management and procurement to this new post.
CEO Irene Campbell said: “Gail demonstrated to the interview panel that she will relish the challenge of leading and building a new asset team for LHA; to deliver the transformational change needed to ensure that we offer our current and future tenants value for money and excellent maintenance, asset management and new build services.”
Gail will play a key role in the Association’s senior management team and will lead on LHA’s drive for improvement in the quality of its homes and services.
John Clark, chair of the management committee, said: “Gail’s appointment will further enhance the transformational change that has taken place at LHA over the past 24 months, and ensure our tenants will see the benefits of our ambitious asset and development plans for the future.”
Gail will take up her post on September 3.
