Lisa Beresford and Sarah Parker welcomed to new senior roles at Clyde Valley Group
Clyde Valley Group (CVG) has appointed Lisa Beresford and Sarah Parker to the newly-created roles of people director and business improvement manager respectively.
Created as a result of successful business growth within CVG, the two roles have come at a key time with the launch of a new Corporate Strategy 2020-2025.
As people director, Lisa will be leading on CVG’s new People Strategy with business improvement manager Sarah leading on the delivery of transformational change and business improvement projects.
Lisa Beresford has an outstanding track record in organisational development and joins CVG with a wealth of experience. For the last five years, she has worked as the head of human resources at South Lanarkshire College. During this time, she led the College in achieving Investors in People Platinum twice.
She has considerable experience in delivering organisational development and creating a positive culture. Her leadership and experience will ensure that CVG are well placed to successfully deliver the People Strategy with the flex to meet the opportunities and challenges ahead, not least the workplace change resulting from the pandemic. Lisa has an enthusiasm and energy for delivering excellence and in ensuring that people sit at the core of all activities.
Lisa said: “I am delighted to be taking on the role as CVG’s new people director. CVG has an excellent reputation and I look forward to building on this, and to working with its people to create sustainable success and deliver the Corporate Strategy for 2020-2025.”
Sarah brings with her experience in project management and consultancy within housing and employability from various public, private and voluntary organisations, most recently Cairn Housing Association. She has enjoyed a varied history of delivering large-scale transformation projects, driving organisations to achieve their goals and deliver customer centric services.
Sarah said: “I look forward to leading in the development and delivery of many of the key outcomes including the implementation of a new Contact Centre, CRM and Self Service Portals, enabling CVG to deliver first class services to customers. We want to give customers the opportunity to access services using their preferred channels and ensure colleagues are well equipped to deliver these services.
“In an ever-changing world, with the added pressures of COVID-19, it is more important than ever that we are able to respond to change and have the best processes and systems in place. I look forward to the cultural, technological and environmental challenges ahead and the opportunities to deliver change and digital solutions to enable CVG to adapt and improve service delivery, reduce waste, reduce effort and increase satisfaction.”
