Long service award for Clydebank Housing Association staff member
Finance & corporate services manager Fiona White has celebrated 30 years of service with Clydebank Housing Association (CHA).
In recognition of this amazing achievement, Fiona was presented with flowers and a gift from CHA’s management committee, gifts from staff and was also invited to receive an award at a formal presentation ceremony with Employers in Voluntary Housing (EVH) in December.
EVH provides employment support to CHA and many other housing associations across Scotland and seeks to celebrate long service in the industry.
On 8th November, Fiona celebrated 30 years of service at CHA as finance & corporate services manager having risen through the ranks from clerkess/trainee, moving into her current position in 2018.
Fiona was delighted with all of her gifts and the award.
Fiona said of her time at CHA: “I decided I would take the job at CHA as a clerkess/trainee and work there for six months while I tried to figure out what I wanted to do with my life! CHA supported me through external training and in-house mentoring which allowed me the chance to expand my experience and to progress in the organisation. It’s now 30 years later, I am the finance & corporate services manager, and I can honestly say that I have loved every minute of my time with CHA.”
Lynette Lees, chief executive, said: “Fiona is such a valuable member of staff and we’re delighted that she recently achieved the AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting, showing her continuous commitment to training and development.”
Lynette added: “Fiona personifies hard work and dedication, and she continually provides great support to our staff teams and customers alike. We thank Fiona for her outstanding contribution to CHA.”
