Lovell wins British Safety Council management awards
Lovell has received two awards from the British Safety Council for its health and safety management performance on two projects in Scotland.
The independently assessed International Safety Awards recognise the company’s continuing commitment to keeping its workers and workplaces safe.
Lovell has received ‘with Merit’ awards for its excellent standards of health and safety management on a kitchen and bathroom replacement project for Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership and on a new-build housing development of council homes at Little Boghead, near Whiteside in Bathgate, for West Lothian Council.
Neal Stone, acting chief executive of the British Safety Council, congratulated Lovell in Scotland on its success: “Awards have an important role to play in shining a light on those employers who are taking sensible and effective steps to ensure the health, safety and welfare of their workers, celebrating their efforts and encouraging other businesses everywhere.
“The International Safety Awards rightly reflect the importance of aiming for good standards of health and safety at work. Lovell in Scotland should rightly be proud of its achievement.”
Lovell regional director Alan Taylor added: “This British Safety Council recognition for our team in Scotland underlines our team’s dedication to protecting our workforce and the public by maintaining the most stringent safety management standards. Ensuring safe working remains our absolute priority.”
