Eydent (the Alliance of Ayrshire Housing Associations) has organised its second major housing conference at the Gailes Hotel, Ayrshire on Wednesday 18 November 2015, and there are only a few places left at the event.

Confirmed speakers include Raymond Young, Alan Ferguson, and David Bookbinder - all well-known figures in housing, along with a plethora of local speakers on topics such as Health and Social Care, Universal Credit, Energy Efficiency Measures, and Governance and Regulation.

The conference will culminate in a political panel session with contributions from all major political parties, in the run up to the Scottish Government elections in May 2016.

Targeted at all who work in housing across the central belt, but particularly at front-line staff and tenants, the cost per delegate of only £25 has been subsidised by Eydent members – ANCHO, Atrium Homes, Ayrshire Housing, Irvine Housing Association and Shire Housing. One of the event’s organisers, Elaine Gibson, director of ANCHO, said: “We’ve almost reached our limit for delegate numbers, which is an amazing achievement. And the range of speakers we’ve managed to attract this year is very impressive. An event to look forward to.”
