Manor Estates to welcome new chief executive
Manor Estates Housing Association has appointed Claire Ironside as chief executive following the retirement of previous CEO Graeme Russell.
Currently director of customer services at Port of Leith Housing Association, Claire brings a broad range of experience gained from a variety of roles both with housing associations and local authorities.
Claire said she is delighted to be taking up the post.
She said: “I am excited about joining Manor Estates and working with my new colleagues to build on Graeme Russell’s fantastic contribution to the organisation. I am looking forward to working with the staff and board of Manor Estates to find out together where the next stage of its development takes the organisation and how my experience and insight can benefit Manor Estates and its tenants.”
Chair of the Association, Nigel Hicks, added: “We are delighted that Claire has accepted the position of chief executive – following a rigorous recruitment process, she proved herself to be the outstanding candidate and we are confident that she will be an excellent leader of our ambitious organisation.”
Claire takes up her post at Manor Estates on September 30.
