Manor Estates turns Silver into Gold
The Investors in People (IIP) accreditation for Manor Estates Housing Association has been updated from Silver to Gold following a rigorous assessment process.
Assessed as meriting Silver status in 2016, the Association and its staff have worked hard to further develop engagement practices, career and professional development opportunities.
IIP commended the Association for “operating at a very high Gold maturity level in terms of the Investors in People framework”.
Furthermore, benchmarking with comparable organisations placed Manor Estates in the top quartile of all housing associations that had undertaken an online assessment.
Graeme Russell, CEO of Manor Estates, said: “We were delighted to receive such a positive report from IIP. Since the occasion of the last review, the Association has worked hard to engage, develop and support its staff. This award is testament to the commitment, professionalism and enthusiasm of a great bunch of employees.”
Bonnie Clarke, interim chief executive of Remarkable, the organisation licensed to deliver Investors in People in Scotland, said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Manor Estates, congratulations. Investors in People recognises organisations who are truly committed to their people, continuous improvement and customer service. We have supported Manor Estates since 2003 and we’re delighted to see their ongoing dedication recognised with this Gold award. Many congratulations.”
Nigel Hicks, chair of Manor Estates, added: “Though I and the Board were delighted to receive the accolade and the recognition, it did not come as a surprise. Since the last IIP review the Association has taken great steps to further improve both our customer service and the commitment to our staff and this is tangible proof of the success of that work.”
