Meet the Buyer event for i-Flair property investment and maintenance Framework
A consortium which represents housing associations based in East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and Renfrewshire is to host a Meet the Buyer event for its highly successful property investment and maintenance related Framework for 2020 - 2024.
The i-Flair consortium published a Prior Information Notice (PIN) for the Framework on Public Contract Scotland (PCS) on August 19.
The Framework involves eight housing associations who own and manage approximately 10,000 houses across the three local authority areas. The Framework is now entering its third iteration having been tendered in 2011 and 2015 and has been used to deliver approximately £80 million worth of investment in the i-Flair members housing stock.
The Contract Notice for the Framework is due to be published in October 2019. However in advance of this a Meet the Buyer Event is being held at 11.00 BST on August 29 at the Tweedie Hall, Linwood.
The Framework is being administered on behalf of the Associations by Renfrewshire-based quantity surveyors A.D.A Construction Consultants.
A.D.A director Alan Shanks said: “The Framework is a great vehicle for the i-Flair members to deliver high-quality investment and services to the Associations’ customers, which have mainly been undertaken by small and medium-sized Contractors during the current Framework. The new Framework will build on the success of the first two Framework Agreements and it is anticipated that the Framework may deliver upwards of £60m of investment and services.
“The Contractors who have been involved in the previous Frameworks are a huge part of the success and i-Flair welcome interest from both existing and new contractors in the 2020-2024 Framework Agreement. Any Contractors wishing to apply should register their interest in the PIN on PCS to obtain more information and how to attend our upcoming Meet the Buyer Event.”
i-Flair members are made up of Barrhead, Bridgewater, Cloch, Ferguslie Park, Linstone, Oak Tree, Paisley and Williamsburgh Housing Associations.
