Melville staff dig deep for Sick Kids Friends Foundation
Staff from Melville Housing Association have dug deep to raise almost £650 for the Sick Kids Friends Foundation (SKFF), the charity that supports children, young patients and their families throughout Scotland.
SKFF has been Melville’s chosen charity for the past 12 months, with staff organising a number of events, including a Movie Matinee, raffle and regular dress down days, to raise funds for their vital work.
Susan Veitch, partnership manager for SKFF, said: “Well done to the team at Melville Housing Association for raising a fabulous £647.44 for the Sick Kid’s Friends Foundation. With the support and help of organisations like Melville Housing, SKFF can continue to help transform the lives of children in hospital so that they are children first and patients second. Thank you so much to everyone who took part.”
“The Sick Kids Friends Foundation does fantastic work for children and their families throughout Scotland,” added Melville’s Stacey McNealis. “Staff worked really hard to raise this money over the course of the year and we are delighted that it’s going to such a worthwhile cause.”
