The development will be 4.76 acres in size and the layout is being prepared to give a range of options to families.

This acquisition is Muir’s first development in East Ayrshire and the second land purchase in the last six months following a site in Stanley for 187 homes.

Paul McKay, managing director of Muir Homes, said both demonstrate the company’s response to the demand for quality new homes and its growth plans.
