National awards for Persimmon developments
Three developments by Persimmon have earned top industry awards for excellence in homebuilding.
The Annick Grange development in Irvine has been awarded a prestigious Quality Recognition Award (QRA) by Premier Guarantee, a testament to the exceptional standards being delivered by the site team led by senior site manager George Simpson and site manager Stuart MacKay.
Located in the heart of Ayrshire, Annick Grange is a thriving new community with 290 homes.
The award from Premier Guarantee reflects the meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality that the Annick Grange team has demonstrated. This accolade not only recognises the hard work of the site team but also highlights the positive impact this development is having on the local community.
George Simpson, senior site manager at Annick Grange, said: “We’re incredibly proud to receive this award. It’s a reflection of the entire team’s dedication to delivering homes that our buyers can be proud of.
“We’re committed to maintaining these high standards as we continue to build much-needed new homes and support the community here in Irvine.”
Also rewarded by Premier Guarantee was Persimmon West Scotland’s Sycamore Park development in Darnley and its Castle Gardens site, a major housing development in Cambuslang.
This 222-home Sycamore Park development has quickly become a part of the Darnley community, thanks to the site team led by site manager Stephen Perry and assistant site manager Darren McAleavy.
Stephen Perry said: “This award is a tremendous honour for our team. We’ve worked hard to ensure that every aspect of the development is completed to the highest standards, and it’s rewarding to see that effort recognized.
“We’re committed to continuing this level of excellence as we complete the remaining homes.”
Site manager Alan Logan and assistant site managers Raymond Clark and Peter Scobie were recognised for their work at Persimmon West Scotland’s Castle Gardens site.
With 386 homes, Castle Gardens is one of the largest developments in the region and plays a crucial role in meeting the housing needs of South Lanarkshire.
The development, which has been designed with the needs of local residents in mind, provides not just housing but also essential community spaces and amenities. The award recognises the high standards of workmanship and site management that have been maintained throughout the project.
Alan Logan expressed his pride in the achievement: “Winning this award is a fantastic achievement for our entire team. We’ve put a lot of effort into ensuring that Castle Gardens not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our buyers.
“This recognition from Premier Guarantee is a testament to that commitment, and we’re excited to continue delivering quality homes for our customers.”
