Neil Anderson announces retirement from Kendoon Housing Association
Kendoon Housing Association director Neil Anderson is to retire after almost 25 years in the post.
Neil, who was appointed director of the Association in February 1994, will retire at the end of January – just one month short of the 25 year milestone.
Kendoon is currently undertaking a comprehensive ‘future options’ appraisal exercise and has appointed Wendy McCracken as interim director.
Reflecting on his time at Kendoon, Neil said: “I’m proud of all that has been achieved and in particular the significant contribution which the association has made to the overall regeneration of the Drumchapel area. All our successes have only been possible through partnership working and the valued contribution of a long list of organisations and individuals – too numerous to mention.
“I’ve enjoyed an excellent working relationship with my management committee members and long serving, or should that be long suffering, staff team.”
The Association wished Neil a very happy and relaxing retirement.
