Scheduled for Friday 13 September 11am -2:30pm, this free event aims to bring together social housing tenants, residents, community groups, and social landlords from across Scotland, fostering a space for sharing insights and best practices.
This year’s virtual gathering promises to be a dynamic forum showcasing successful collaborations between tenants and landlords. Through a series of engaging presentations, videos, and discussions, participants will have the opportunity to learn from diverse perspectives and experiences. The event underscores the importance of tenant and community involvement in shaping vibrant, supportive, and well-managed social housing communities.
Event Highlights:
- Interactive Presentations: Featuring success stories and innovative practices in tenant engagement.
- Video Showcase: Highlighting impactful community initiatives.
- Discussions: Providing a platform for tenants and landlords to discuss key issues and opportunities.
With NETRALT representing communities across Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, and Moray, and NTP covering the Highlands & Islands, Orkney, Shetland, and the Hebrides, the collaboration brings together a rich tapestry of voices from Scotland’s diverse social housing landscape. This event is a unique opportunity for attendees to network, learn, and share their experiences on a national scale.
Catherine Coutts, co-chair of NETRALT, expressed her enthusiasm: “We are thrilled to partner with Northern Tenants Partnership to showcase the fantastic work taking place in our communities. This event provides a unique platform for tenants to inspire one another, share good practice, and promote active tenant engagement across Scotland.”
The event is open to all social housing tenants, residents, community groups, and landlords interested in building stronger, more collaborative communities. Registration is free, but spaces are limited, so early sign-up is encouraged.
