Muirhouse Housing Association has announced the appointment of Stevie McAvoy as its new chief executive.

Stevie has over 30 years experience in housing and a hugely successful track record of success and achievement over that period of time with a variety of housing organisations.

Bob McDougall, chairperson of Muirhouse, said: “We are delighted to have Stevie join our organisation he has a well, established record of business success, customer service excellence, leadership qualities as well as successful business transformation and development.”

Stevie added: “I have spent my career dedicated to tackling social and financial injustice, providing excellent homes and services. I am delighted to be joining a successful organisation like Muirhouse that shares and displays those values. Muirhouse is an organisation on the way up and we have ambitious plans to ensure Muirhouse is and remains the place to be.”
