New dashboards enable in-depth analysis of Scottish Social Housing Charter data
HouseMark Scotland has used the latest Scottish Social Housing Charter data to produce a new version of its own comparison tool allowing landlords to flexibly benchmark their performance against an unlimited number of their peers.
The Scottish Housing Regulator published its latest headline findings tracking social landlords’ performance against the Charter last week.
Complementary to the Regulator’s own data analysis tool, HouseMark Scotland’s interactive dashboards provide further options for social landlords to analyse in-depth more than 900 columns of data and the supplementary Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH) spreadsheet that make up the latest annual Charter performance data release.
HouseMark Scotland data services manager, Russell Young, said: “Last week’s publication of the Scottish Housing Regulator’s latest headline findings on the Charter brought much good news. In general, landlords are keeping tenants satisfied, delivering better repairs and maintenance services and increasingly offering value for money in the eyes of rent payers.”
Russell Young added: “Our newly released and easy-to-use online tool allows you to compare any landlord’s Charter performance against a group of your choosing. You can filter your peer group by landlord name or type, local authority area, stock size or rent levels. You can compare your chosen landlord to others across aspects such as value for money, repairs, rent collection, tenant satisfaction and more.
“You can also see how performance has changed year on year; choose to look at the latest 2015/16 data on its own or view trends since 2013/14 when the Scottish Housing Regulator’s first annual Charter performance reports were published.
“These dashboards present the data ‘as is’ without analysis, as the SHR’s headlines include in-depth analyses of the data. We plan to update these charts periodically in line with corrections issued by the Regulator.”
