New director appointed at Calvay Housing Association
Calvay Housing Association has announced the appointment of Nick Dangerfield as its new director following the retirement of previous director, Michael Dawson.
The Association recorded its thanks to Michael for his commitment over the last 18 years and wished him well in his retirement.
It also expressed thanks to Thenue Housing Association’s head of housing, Brian Gannon, who supported staff and the committee over the last four months as interim director and also assisted with the recruitment of the new director.
Nick joins Calvay from Hunters Hall Co-operative in Edinburgh, where he has been director for the last two years. Nick has previously worked as a consultant, as a local government manager and for several housing associations across the UK.
Calvay’s chairperson Pauline Barr said: “Nick brings a wealth of experience to Calvay and we look forward to him joining us in October to support our fantastic staff team who continue to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction and excellent performance across a range of key indicators. Calvay is a financially strong RSL and we have ambitions to continue to grow through a new build programme and also further develop our community regeneration activities through our Calvay Community Centre.”
Nick added: “I am really pleased to join Calvay Housing Association. I want to ensure that Calvay continues to deliver a first-class housing service to its tenants and builds on its community activities in order to deliver more opportunities to the Association’s customers.”
