Donald Macleod has been appointed as Hebridean Housing Partnership’s (HHP) new director of finance & corporate services.

HHP chairman Iain Macmillan said Donald was selected from a strong field of candidates by HHP’s Board supported by Employers in Voluntary Housing (EVH) following a recruitment exercise in September 2016.

Iain Macmillan said: “I am delighted to welcome Donald to his new role as a member of the Executive Team at HHP.”

Donald is a qualified Certified Accountant and prior to joining HHP he worked as senior finance & planning manager (Northern Europe) at Lenovo Technologies (UK) Ltd in Glasgow.

Donald said: “I am looking forward to working for HHP as Director of Finance & Corporate Resources and I would like to thank the Directors and the Board for this opportunity.”

Dena Macleod, who previously carried out the role prior to becoming the chief executive, added: “Donald is a welcome addition to our Executive Team and we look forward to working with him to ensure HHP remains financially sound to enable us to deliver an excellent housing service to our customers throughout the Outer Hebrides.”
