Housing associations Barony and West Lothian Housing Partnership (WLHP) have appointed Alex Lamb as their new head of housing.

Alex took up her role at Barony and WLHP, which are part of Wheatley Group, earlier this month.

Having worked in housing for 23 years, Alex replaces Alan Glasgow, who started his new role as director of housing at Dunedin Canmore, also part of Wheatley Group, last month.

Alex was previously a housing officer at WLHP and, before that, worked in housing management with West Lothian Council.

In her new role Alex will oversee the teams delivering housing services to WLHP communities in West Lothian and Barony communities in Edinburgh, Stirling, Falkirk, West Lothian and Fife.

The two staff teams currently share an office in Bathgate.

Alex said: “I’m really excited about my new role.

“I’ll be working with housing and care colleagues to continue to deliver excellent services for tenants across our general needs and supported accommodation.”
