New housing director appointed at Fife Housing Group
Fife Housing Group has appointed Su Bramley as its new director of housing.
Su, currently FHG’s acting director of housing, will officially start in her permanent role on 10 August 2015.
She has worked for FHG since early 2014 in the posts of both acting director of corporate services and finance and acting director of commercial and asset management.
Su said she was delighted with her appointment to the new post: “I have really enjoyed my time with Fife Housing Group.
“I am looking forward to working as part of the new Business Leadership Team to improve the services we offer and make a real difference for our tenants and customers.”
FHG chief executive Nicki Donaldson said Su’s wealth of experience and knowledge had already been of great benefit to the group.
She said: “Su has proved she is absolutely the right person for this job. There is a lot of work to do to make sure we make the best use of resources and provide the kind of services our tenants and customers deserve.
“With Su’s appointment I am confident that I have a business leadership team in place which can achieve that and help us to reach the potential I know Fife Housing Group is capable of.”
A native of Liverpool, Su graduated with a degree in business studies. Having qualified as a chartered accountant in 1999 with PKF, Su worked on a number of significant audits including those of major registered social landlord clients.
From 1992 – 2000 Su worked in housing and general audit for the company PKF. She then worked for English social housing regulator, the Housing Corporation in Merseyside and the North West.
Prior to joining Fife Housing Group, Su was employed by of Chester and District Housing Trust, which had around 7000 homes for rent in the Chester area, where she held the posts of deputy chief executive and group director of governance.
Su is married to Nigel and enjoys travel, photography and living by the sea.
