New members elected onto Milnbank management committee at AGM

Milnbank Housing Association's AGM
The community’s support of Milnbank Housing Association was evident once more as 84 members attended its recent AGM.
The Association has now a full committee of local people after the election of two new committee members at the event.
On addressing his report, the chairman highlighted the importance of the Association engaging with residents and advised this will continue in the coming months through planned consultations on rents and supporting the community through the current economic crisis.
The members attending recorded their appreciation to Alan Benson for his outstanding contribution during his service and wished him a happy retirement.
The auditor was in attendance to present the unqualified Annual Accounts and confirm the Association’s strong financial position. On the same day as the AGM, the local community raised £500 for MacMillan Cancer Support.
