New office success for River Clyde Homes
River Clyde Homes’ new main public access office in the town centre of Greenock is proving to be a great success with over 230 customers accessing services in its first week of opening.
As part of a service transformation and modernisation programme River Clyde Homes opened three new customer access points earlier this month.
As well as an office based in Clyde Square, there is also new drop-in access at Broomhill Way in Greenock, Gourock Library and at the DWP office in Scarlow Street, Port Glasgow.
At the Clyde Square office customers can make payments and take advantage of extended opening hours on Thursday nights and Saturday mornings.
The new ways of working come as a direct response to feedback and allows customers to discuss a number of issues and to get help in accessing new services.
At the new offices, customers can: apply for a new home, bid on properties, receive financial advice, access factoring services, discuss housing options and support services, report repairs and report antisocial behaviour.
Albert Henderson, chair of River Clyde Homes board, said: “Our Clyde Square office which was opened as a result of customer feedback is proving to be a great success. Customers say they like the central location and are taking advantage of being able to make cash payments.”
