New plans submitted for rebuilding of five East Kilbride homes
Plans have been submitted to rebuild five terraced houses in East Kilbride that were destroyed by fire last year.
The proposal by Sedgwick International aims to reconstruct the Whitelee properties in a similar style to their original form, with two central 1.5-storey homes and three two-storey properties at either end. The new homes will feature a mix of brown/buff brick and white render.
In documents submitted to South Lanarkshire Council, Sedwick International stated: “The rear roofline is retained throughout all 5 houses, only differentiating where required in the front elevation – matching the building form on the neighbouring Mill Rigg.”
