New Scottish Tenant Engagement Network announced
A new professional network, focusing on innovation in tenant engagement, has been announced for staff in Scotland’s social housing sector.
The Scottish Tenant Engagement Network has been developed by CX-Feedback, which currently supports 35 housing associations across Scotland with tenant engagement. The free bi-monthly online event is open to all social housing staff who are involved in engaging and communicating with tenants.
CX-Feedback said attendees can expect a fast-paced hour-long programme, focusing on “innovative and inspirational best practice from leading experts in tenant engagement” from across the social housing sector. The first network will take place virtually on 14 November, from 11:00 to 12:00, and its agenda will include:
- Three things every social landlord should be doing with their transaction surveys
- Setting expectations: the secret ingredient to boosting tenant satisfaction?
- Why language matters – a live case study on increasing tenant engagement and satisfaction.
Max Scotto, Kingdom Housing Group’s lead customer engagement officer, is one of the expert speakers and will discuss his organisation’s successes in increasing tenant engagement in its rent increase survey. Max has worked in tenant engagement for nearly a decade and has won several national awards for tenant participation.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn from their peers through sharing and discussing current work, challenges and achievements.
Fraser Campbell, senior tenant engagement consultant with CX-Feedback, said: “We’re excited to be able to bring together an exciting programme full of cutting-edge best practice, from a wide cross section of the sector, for our Scottish Tenant Engagement Network.
“We work with so many social landlords, so we truly understand the pressures on the housing sector right now and see, in practice, how some RSLs are learning to adapt.
“The housing sector is evolving quickly, so sharing best practice is more important than ever now. We see some of the best RSLs engaging effectively and successfully with tenants and are proud to shine a spotlight on the amazing work they are doing.
“Our programme has something for everyone, and I’d encourage you to come and join like-minded individuals in improving how we help tenants.”
Max Scotto added: “Over the past few years, at Kingdom, we have improved our approach to tenant participation.
“I’m excited to share some of our successes and best practices with the Scottish housing sector in the hope that we can all learn from one another how to increase the influence that tenants have in Scotland.”
