Situated in Carrick Place, the development boasts stunning views across the Campsie Fells and Ochil Hills and comprises sixteen one and two bedroom cottage flats and four three bedroom semi-detached homes. All properties have been allocated for social rent.

The homes were constructed using CCG’s bespoke Closed Panel Timber Frame System manufactured in the firm’s state of the art Off-Site Manufacturing facility in Cambuslang, CCG OSM.

‘Off-Site’ manufacturing is a construction approach that significantly reduces build time, improves environmental efficiency and minimises waste. Further, in aspiring to achieve a Silver Standard of accreditation, residents will benefit from the installation of solar photovoltaic panels and other energy saving products.

Heather Purdon, one of the new residents at Carrick Place, said: “I am absolutely delighted with my new home and can’t believe my luck. The estate is well done and the view is amazing - I can see the Wallace monument from the back garden from the minute you walk through the front door into the spacious hallway, you get a really homely feel.

“I have never known a new build to have such great storage space and power sockets - it really is the cosiest home and so energy efficient - all bills will be kept to a minimum. My new house has surpassed all my expectations and I am enjoying living here so much.”
