Peter Quinn, business development director at Keep Scotland Beautiful, presented ng homes residents with the national award, which recognises the housing association’s commitment to improving environmental quality.

The award makes ng homes the highest scoring organisation in its sector in Scotland to receive the commendation.

John Fury, ng homes chairperson, said: “We are delighted to receive this prestigious award from Keep Scotland Beautiful. We are really pleased to be described by Keep Scotland Beautiful as a forward thinking housing association and to be presented with a national environmental award.

“It is truly great for the people in the community we serve in North Glasgow who have worked in partnership with ng homes to achieve this recognition. Our tenants have told us that the changes introduced make them feel very proud of their area and this award recognises the excellent contribution of all those involved in making such a positive difference.
