North Lanarkshire Council consulting on tenant participation
North Lanarkshire Council is seeking the views of our tenants and residents to help us improve tenant participation opportunities for them, as housing services shapes its new Tenant Participation Support Contract.
The Tenant Participation Support Contract provides independent support to empower and support tenants who want to become more involved in consultations.
Tenants, residents and customers are at the heart of our service and we want to continue to build on the good partnership we’ve already established.
Business engagement manager David Baxter said: “Tenant participation is a priority for us and the involvement of our tenants and other customers is fundamental to delivering an excellent service.
“Our Tenant Participation Support Contract will play a key role in helping people to get involved in tenant scrutiny and consultations affecting them. This support could include working with tenants and residents to consider how their rent is spent or asking their views on proposed legislation or policy changes. By completing our latest survey we’ll gather information that can be used to improve opportunities for tenants and residents.”
The survey can be completed online, by phone or by requesting a questionnaire by post and the deadline for responses is Wednesday 15 November 2017.
