Open day to showcase transformed Greenock high rise homes
Social landlord River Clyde Homes is holding a Prospecthill Court Open Day on Wednesday 1st February, 3pm – 7pm to allow prospective customers first-hand experience of its newly modernised, super energy-efficient flats in the transformed Broomhill area of Greenock.
The regeneration of Broomhill by River Clyde Homes is one of the biggest projects of its kind ever to take place in Scotland, with £26 million invested in the area.
The community is undergoing a major makeover with the transformation of 604 low-rise and multi-storey flats, with brand new kitchens and bathrooms, eco-friendly heating systems, double glazed windows and hi-tech security features.
The high-rise properties will also have newly-refurbished, modernised foyer areas, a concierge service, controlled entry, new fire detection systems in communal areas, and front doors that have been designed to Secure by Design standards.
Alan Duncan, a River Clyde Homes Board member, said: “I would urge local people to forget any pre-conceptions they may have about Broomhill and come along to the open day to see, for themselves, the massive changes that are taking place in the area. The transformation of Broomhill is one of the largest regeneration projects in Scotland.
“Come along to our show flat at Prospecthill Court, have a cup of tea, chat to our team and experience for yourself just how modern, spacious and energy efficient these flats will be – and they are ready to move into now, so if you are looking for a new home there is no need to wait.”
He added: “If you can’t make it along to the Open Day but are interested in seeing the show flat, call us on 0800 013 2196 to make an appointment.”
