John Rodwell, chair of Orkney Housing Association, added: “We pride ourselves on being a great place to work, and offering opportunities for our staff at all stages of their careers.”
In relation to the value of Modern Apprentices, he added: “Bringing Modern Apprentices into the Association has been a very positive experience for us and them. We have an ongoing commitment to develop young people in our community, and have another apprentice who has recently joined our team this Autumn.”
The national awards ceremony was held at the National Museum of Scotland, in Edinburgh on November 3rd and was attended by Mhairi Hughes and OHAL’s two apprentices, Emma Barton and Leanne Omand.
