Perceptive Communicators celebrates Homes for Scotland awards shortlisting
Glasgow-based specialist communications consultancy Perceptive Communicators has been shortlisted for the prestigious Homes for Scotland awards.
After being recognised as Associate Member of the Year in 2022, the consultancy has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Supporting Organisation category this year.
Perceptive Communicators has also added four high-profile new clients to its built environment portfolio and made two key promotions.
The consultancy has been chosen to provide strategic PR, social media, stakeholder engagement and digital support for Ravenscraig, Europe’s largest brownfield regeneration project. Located in North Lanarkshire, this transformational regeneration project is led by Ravenscraig Limited, a joint venture company comprising Barratt Developments, Tata Steel and Scottish Enterprise.

Fife-based family housing developer Campion Homes has appointed Perceptive to deliver proactive PR and social media services to support their growth plans, including broadening their clients in the social housing sector.

As built environment specialists, including a great track record in social and private housing, Perceptive has a great insight into the issues and challenges facing not just us, but also our customers and the whole industry. Finally, Perceptive will provide communications support for BioConnect Ireland. Led by industry champion, Dr Ian Archer and based in Monaghan in the Republic of Ireland, BioConnect’s mission is to engage with local and regional food businesses and agricultural producers, together with entrepreneurs and investors, to drive the sector forward creating world class opportunities and businesses.
Dr Ian Archer, chief executive of BioConnect Ireland, added: “I worked with Perceptive in a previous role at the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre. I found the team to have a really good understanding of our sector, which can be very technical and importantly have great skills in translating complex content into compelling content. They also have great connections in the sector which has already been useful.”
For Innovate UK, the Government’s innovation agency, Perceptive has been appointed to lead a national communications campaign to build awareness and demonstrate the impact of their Innovation Accelerator programme, following a competitive tender. This will include showcasing a range of exciting UK-wide projects supported by Innovate UK, delivering significant economic, social and environmental benefits.
Supporting this growth, Perceptive Communicators has promoted two existing team members, Sophie Newington and Jack Hope. As account director, Sophie will take a leading proactive role in developing effective communications strategies focused on achieving client objectives.
In his new role as public affairs and public relations consultant, Jack will continue to offer clients expert political counsel and communications support. Jack’s role will be crucial to the business as clients navigate the complex political landscape on a Scottish and UK level.
