Perth & Kinross Council awards reactive repair contract extension
McLeod Glaziers has accepted a one-year contract extension from Perth & Kinross Council (PKC) that will see the firm continue to provide a reactive repair, maintenance and emergency call-out service to domestic properties.
The contract includes works such as repairing faulty windows/doors, boarding up vandalised windows and even rescuing homeowners who have been locked out of their property.
McLeod Glaziers, which has held the contract since 2017, said it was “thrilled” to be continuing it until at least 2022 and that it appreciated the timing of the extension given the pressures it has faced due to the current pandemic and government restrictions.
Derek Petterson, CEO of McLeod Glaziers, added: “I would like to personally show my appreciation to Perth & Kinross Council for supporting local businesses in these testing times.
“We are working with a reduced team at present due to the pandemic, so this offer of a contract extension is very much appreciated and helps us plan the future of our business, now and beyond.
“I am absolutely delighted to be continuing our great working relationship with Perth & Kinross Council.”
