Places still available for 2017 John Wheatley Lecture

Places are still available for people interested in attending the 3rd annual John Wheatley Lecture which is being hosted by Parkhead Housing Association in association with Wheatley Group.
The invited audience drawn from civic Scotland across a number of different sectors will hear from the Rt Hon. Dame Elish Angiolini DBE QC who will deliver this year’s lecture.
Previously delivered by former Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Guardian columnist Owen Jones, the lecture enables a debate on the social issues of the day and their solutions and the role housing can play in them.
The event will take place on October 26 at 7pm at the Congregational Church, 77 Westmuir Street, Parkhead, G31 5EW.
