The developer launched its call for views last year around the plans for new homes on Pendeen Road, an area of ground designated as ‘white land’ where no specific end-use case has been identified in the Glasgow City Development Plan.

The site has been vacant since the demolition of Pendeen Road Primary School in the 1990s.

The developer states: “The proposal comprises of 84 units which is in keeping with the scale and density of the surrounding area.

“The flat units range in size from one to five bedrooms with 10 per cent of units specifically designed to accommodate wheelchair users.

“The proposal also incorporates new parking provision, open space, informal play and soft landscaping.”
