Plans submitted for apartments and commercial units in Calton

Property developer Grant Stafford Borthwick Ltd has lodged plans for 85 flats with ground floor commercial units on ground west of 331 Bell Street in Calton.
The plans indicate that the seven-storey building would comprise of a mixture of one, two, three and four-bedroom units.
The site, which is located beside Calton fire station and Morrison’s supermarket, is currently used for vehicle parking, reGlasgow reports.
Fifty-four flats have recently been completed for the same developer on an adjacent site.
