Plans submitted for new holiday park near Blairgowrie
Heritage Estates Limited has submitted plans to Perth and Kinross Council to build a new holiday park near Blairgowrie.
The plans include 24 new holiday cottages, 10 glamping pods, and a camping/caravan area. The development is also expected to create 14 jobs.
If approved, the park is set to be located at the former Bendochy Poultry Farm site, between Blairgowrie and Coupar Angus.
The farm and surrounding area has been empty for five years, and the developers hope that the plans plans will help to accommodate a rising number of post-lockdown tourists in the area.
If approved, the development will also have space for motorhomes, The Courier reports.
The first phase of construction would see the initial 19-holiday lodges being constructed, along with a reception building. Phase two will follow with the remaining lodges and 10 glamping pods. The development will also feature a play park, and one car parking space per lodge.
