Plans submitted to convert former Lanarkshire furniture shop into three flats
South Lanarkshire Council has received plans to convert an old furniture store into three flats and a small retail unit.
The application concerns the former Brown and Co Furnishings shop on Bannatyne Street.
The premises have been empty for a decade and if approved, the plans will see it converted into a two-bedroomed flat, and two, one-bedroomed properties.
Planners have included space for three cars, The Daily Record reports.
A neighbourhood consultation will end on July 12, with standard consultation ending earlier this week.
