Port of Leith Housing Association to receive Investors in Diversity Standard
Port of Leith Housing Association (PoLHA) has been recognised by the National Centre for Diversity for its ongoing commitment to equal opportunities and diversity in the workplace.
The Association is set to be awarded the Investors in Diversity Standard on a conditional basis.
Glen White, corporate services manager at Port of Leith Housing Association, said: “We are thrilled to have received this endorsement from the National Centre for Diversity. We are proud of the steps we’re taking to put equality, diversity and inclusion at the heart of all our efforts to make Leith an even better place in which to live, visit and do business.
“We are committed to doing everything in our power to ensure that Port of Leith Housing Association mirrors the vibrant and diverse communities of Leith and north Edinburgh, and it’s fantastic for the Association to be recognised for this commitment.
“Over the coming months, we’ll continue to run awareness-raising events, involving staff, board members and external stakeholders.”
Earlier this year, Port of Leith Housing Association was ranked 63rd in the Top 100 UK Companies for promoting fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion and engagement.
